Screening of When They Awake

Metro Theatre, Edmonton

From the Edmonton Journal: "Also exploring music, opening night is #WhenTheyAwake, with a concert attached. Lavallee asks, “Do you remember Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World, which looked at the history of indigenous music? When They Awake is the present and the future, all Canadian artists — and it’s fantastic. People are coming from everywhere for the opening. Leela Gilday is coming from Yellowknife, her brother Jay Gilday is based here. Afterwards we’re going to have a songwriters’ circle kind of thing. This live performance includes the Gilday siblings, Don Amero from Winnipeg, Iqaluit’s Sylvia Cloutier and local country-roots musician Trent Agecoutay."

This one will be a goodder!

May 3rd. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
